Steelmin Update - October 2018

Our furnace Nr. 5 was successfully commissioned in May 2018, producing up to 80 MT per day of FeSi 75. Up to August 2018 production was stabilising and during this period, we noted various processes need to be optimised, which included the crusher equipment, the cooling system and various other parts of the production.

Therefore, the initial time schedule for maintenance increased and we will now expect recommencement of our production by beginning of January 2019. During our 3 month time of production, material had been successfully marketed to major steelworks in Europe via our agents LSAlloys and Sineco.

With almost 180 employees onboard we look forward to restarting again and hereby express our sincere appreciation to the team for their continuous support and efforts making Steelmin, Bosnia a successful business.

There has also been a management change within Steelmin Bosnia. Mr. Dzevad (David) Delic has resigned from his position as Managing Director with immediate effect and will be replaced by Mr. Andreas C. Beier as Managing Director of Steelmin Bosnia with management support from Mr. Mensur Haseljic (Production).

We woulld like to take the opportunity to thank David for the great work he has done as well as the time committed to the operation and staff at Steelmin.
